Dhartimitra

Dhartimitra is developed by All India Coordinated Research Project on Soil Test Crop Response, University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore (UAS, B), GKVK, Karnataka under Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY) grants. This application fetches the fertility status of the land based on the geo-coordinates of the farmer’s field which save’s the time and cost required for frequent soil sampling and analysis. Further, fertilizer recommendations are available based on Soil Test Crop Response (STCR) approach for specific yield target or Low-Medium-High / Soil Test Laboratory approach for various crops. Currently, this app is accessible for 10 districts of Karnataka viz., Kolar, Tumakuru, Chitradurga, Mysuru, Hassan, Chamarajanagara, Ramanagara, Mandya, Bengaluru Rural, and Chikkaballapura.
